Battle Born Quattro is converging in Las Vegas the weekend of October 8-10th 2010. This will be our unofficial celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Audi Quattro. Our event highlights the UrQuattro but we are welcoming the participation of subsequent generations of the Audi Coupe.
The event will kick off Friday Oct 8th with a meet & greet at Aliante Station Resort and Casino where a block of rooms is held for the Audi Quattro group. Pricing is locked in at $99 / night.
Saturday will begin with a trip down to Cars and Coffee, a weekly gathering of car enthusiasts. We will have our own corral for our Audi’s, weekly participation of Cars and Coffee ranges from 200-300 cars per week of all shapes and sizes. Arrive early to guarantee the best parking and give yourself time to get that car shined up to represent us well.
After leaving Cars and Coffee we will caravan over to Audi Henderson. They are a generous sponsor of our event and true enthusiasts. We’ll enjoy an early lunch and a tour of the dealership prior to setting out on our trek to Valley of Fire State Park. Our drive will begin on the western shores of Lake Mead and wind and twist our way to the southern entrance of the park. Once in the park we will tour all the sites and have many great photo opportunities. The group will proceed to the north entrance of the park and jump on the highway for the final leg back to the hotel for dinner and some relaxation.
Sunday will have options for those who can stay through the day. We will get a early morning start for breakfast on the strip at the Peppermill. Those of you who’d like a chance to drive your cars down the strip this would be the best time as temperatures will be cool and traffic will be very light. After breakfast the group can proceed to The Collections at the Imperial Palace where you can always see some great vintage cars, and likely some Group B and Trans Am era legends.
Expect to see a number of Audi’s arriving in town this weekend as our event precedes this years TT West event.
