As a community college, the College of Lake County was founded with one overriding purpose: to meet the educational needs of Lake County residents. That's why CLC offers a wide range of courses, programs and services to meet the educational needs of people of all ages and interests. Since the college opened in 1969, more than 300,000 students have attended classes here, and today, about 15,000 students enroll each fall, including almost one in four recent high school graduates. CLC offers a variety of educational programs to meet almost any need.
